Victoria Lynn White

Victoria Lynn White, age 72, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Rockford. She was born on September 20, 1952, in Rockford to Dewey and Dorothy (Bagwell) White. After graduating from Stillman Valley High School, Victoria worked for over 30 years at Gunite. She was actively involved with UAW Local 718, serving as the Union Financial Secretary for many years. 

Victoria enjoyed being a member of the Moose Club, attending the Fireside Dinner Theater, and she had a deep love for her cats. She would like to acknowledge her special friend, Mary Ann Swanson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Victoria’s name to either the New Milford United Methodist Church or Faith Wesleyan Church of Rockford, Illinois.

Her brothers survive her, Donald (and Charlotte) White and Dennis (and Ellen) White; and her sisters, Diane (and Dwight) Sanford and Trudy (and Gary) Young.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at New Milford United Methodist Church. Friends are welcome to visit at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. A luncheon will follow at the church.
