Timothy F Thomas

Timothy F. Thomas, age 51, of Rockford, Illinois, died on Thursday September 19th, 2024, at home. He was born December 7th, 1972, in Rockford, Illinois to Joe and Sandra (Prelopski) Thomas. He attended Jefferson High School. Tim was very talented as a flooring installer. He enjoyed listening to music. He loved spending time playing, and taking care of his lizard, chicken and rooster, as if they were like a pet dog. He was most definitely a prankster. He had a joke every time or he always had something funny to say.

Two of his favorite sayings: “Hey, do you wanna hear something funny?” or “WHAT’S MY NAME?” as he threw up his hands.

He is survived by his three children:

Joshua Stephen Thomas, Tiarra Sandra Thomas, Carlson Trevon Robert Thomas Carlson.

Two Children by Joshua:

Wesley Stephen Thomas, Joshua Gabriel Thomas.

Brothers and Sisters:

Phillip DiBenedetto, Lori (DiBenedetto) Holzhueter, Richard DiBenedetto, Tina (DiBenedetto) Lockhart, Jody (Thomas) King, Joey Thomas.

And many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by his:

Mother, Sandra (Prelopski) Thomas on May 21st, 2001, Father, Joe Thomas, June 3rd, 2021.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, time 1:00 p.m. at Sundberg Funeral Home, followed by a gathering of family and friends.
