Sharon L. Egbert, 64, died at 9:12 am, Thurs., Sept. 1, 2011, in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center ER. Born Sept. 20, 1946 in Beaver Dam, WI, the daughter of James & Juanita (Vanderkolk) Tetzlaff. Married to Richard P. Egbert in Loves Park, March 13, 1964. Sharon & Richard are foster parents have been for 24 years. She attended Living Word Ministries Fellowship. Survivors include: husband, Richard of Rockford; children, Richard D. (Marisela) Egbert of Roscoe and Andrea LaGrene of Rockford; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Juanita (Willie) Chears of Rockford, Linda Gulley of Rockford; 2 brothers, James Tetzlaff of Phoenix, AZ, Lawrence (Carol) Tetzlaff of S. Beloit, IL. Predeceased by a son, Michael; a daughter, Juanita Lorraine; her parents; mother-in-law, Ava Egbert; a stepbrother, James Smythe, brothers Leonard and William Tetzlaff and 2 sisters & 1 brother as babies.
Services at 1:00 pm, Tues., Sept. 6, 2011 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford, IL with the Pastor John McClintock officiating.
