Ruth Ann (Clark) Hochstatter

Ruth Ann Clark-Howard-Hochstatter age 69 of Rockford, Illinois, died Wednesday July 14th, 2021, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Lawrence and June (Stenslien) Clark on September 14th, 1951, in Viroqua, Wisconsin. She graduated from Viroqua High School in 1969. She married Thomas Leroy Howard on June 5th, 1971, and Roger William Hochstatter on June 2nd, 1990. Ruth lived with her significant other, Dale Weaver for the last seven years. She worked at All Rental Garment Company Twenty plus years and then at Rockford Carving Company for five plus years and soon after she retired. She loved camping with family and friends at the River Road Campgrounds, playing cards and winning, listening to the plectron, and most of all spending time with family and friends and giving them all the “bird”.

She survived by her significant other Dale Weaver.

Her Children; June (Jason) Weaver, Leroy (Jennie) Howard, Billy (Katie) Howard.

Grandchildren; Austin, Emily, Jordan, Andrew, Jeremy, Jared, Debby, Micaela, Madilyn, Cody.

Great Grandchild; Aurora

Four Brothers; Terry (Peggy) Clark, Alan (Donna) Clark, Bryant (Judy) Clark, Steven (Debbie) Clark.

Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Son Casey Allen Hochstatter, Husbands, Lee and Roger, sister Jeannie Connolly, two Brother-in-Laws, and Cousin Debbie Palmer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 7th, 2021, from 11:00a.m. until 4:00p.m. at the SM&SF Club, 1010 Sandy Hollow Road, Rockford, IL. 61109. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family. Sundberg Funeral Home is caring for the family.
