Robert "Bob" Zinnecker

Bob Zinnecker, age 91 of Rockford Illinois died Tuesday October 4th, 2022, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Rockford. He was born December 14th, 1930, to George and Eva (Smith) Zinnecker. Married Linda (McCann) Williams Sept 9, 1978. Bob was Branch Manager Crown Finance, VP 1st State Bank, Retired from Ill. Tollway.  Back in his younger days, Bob was a fantastic bowler, having won many titles down State.  He also loved golfing.  He was a huge Notre Dame & Packer fan and enjoyed visiting both Green Bay & Notre Dame museums.  

Survived By Wife Linda, Son, Thomas Zinnecker, Daughters Roberta (Troy) Nelson, Patti (Kirk) Van Acker, Granddaughters Kayla (Christian Ray) Van Acker, Rhiannon Olcott, Brittney (Eric) Stratton, Grandsons Quinn (Kathleen) Kimball, Joshua Zinnecker, Rick & Jordan Hines, Great Grandchildren. Rachel, Harper, Eric, Bennett, Mariah & Darren.

Preceded in Death by Parents, Brothers Edward & Ellsworth Schott, Daughter & son-in-law Laurie & Tim Kimball and Grandson Kyle Hines.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday October 12th, 2022, time 1:00 p.m. at Third Presbyterian Church in Rockford Illinois. Pastor Stephen Loch Bowie to officiate. Friends may visit from Noon until time of service.
