Robert Eric Shaw

Robert E. Shaw, age 73, of Rockford, IL, died Tuesday February 15th, 2022. He was born January 21st, 1949 to Viola Shaw-Douglas and his step-father Donald Douglas. He was a graduate of Harlem High School in 1967 and went on to join the United State Marine Corps a year later and served his country in Viet Nam until July 22nd, 1974 and upon coming home he was a Tool & Die maker at Estwing Hammer until he retired in after 23 years. He enjoyed reading, watching movies and drinking coffee.

Survived by Brothers Matthew (Ann) Douglas, Ronald (Kelley) Douglas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in Death by his Mother Viola, step father Donald and brother Donald Jr., and grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. 

Graveside Service will be Wednesday February 23rd, 2022, time 12:300 p.m. at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
