Robert Duane Pierce

Mr. Robert Duane Pierce,80, of Rockford, passed away on January 16,
2023, in Rockford.
He was born on August 9, 1942 in Irene, S.D. to Walter and Neva
(Jacobson) Pierce. He graduated from Wakonda High School. He
attended college. He served his country through the US Army.
He spent his time working very hard to support his children, by himself.
He was the top salesman for many years. He was a member of the
Moose Lodge.
Mr. Pierce is survived by his three children: Brian (Mike Wilkinson)
Pierce, Karmyn Pierce (Oscar) Portillo, and Melissa McClellan. Three
grandchildren: Ethan, Rylan and Miranda.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Fred and Katie
Jacobson; one aunt Florence Jacobson.

Mr. Pierce requested that he be laid to rest along side of his parents in
South Dakota, where he had been born and raised.
