Rickey Blair

Rickey Matthew Blair
Born February 6, 1942, died February 14, 2021.  Beloved grandson, son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Married to wife Dorthy in 1964, bringing together their families.  Survived by wife Dorthy (Engeberetson), children Suzan Rubeck (Greg), Marc Blair, and Karla Schumacher (Jeff). Grandchildren Sara Rubeck-Doyle (Connor), Bryce Rubeck, Sebastian Blair, Marc Blair II, Elaine Schumacher, and Jackson Schumacher. Retired from Atwood Automotive, member of The Christian Service Brigade, Awana's, Boy Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Title IV Native American Program, Native American/Scottish American Reenactment Group, The Illinois State Archaeological Society, he was an avid square dancer and a lifelong advocate of and longtime volunteer at The Burpee National History Museum.  His family was very proud of him.  In lieu of flowers, please send donation in Rickey's name to Burpee National History Museum, 737 N.
