Raymond Edward Sykes, 71, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2022 at home in Rockford, IL. He is survived by his father Raymond F.; former wife Barbara L. and their children Jason R., Janice M., Jeffrey R., and grandson Nathaniel J.; siblings Kathleen M. Poss, Dorothy J. Nilsson and James F. Sykes and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Dorothy Mary Sykes (Flood), aunt Jean (Fred) Greco, sister Patricia A. Keesecker Mandragon, brother-in-law Jim Poss, and niece Kristen Nilsson.
