Randiann King, 73 originally from Winnebago, Illinois passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in River Bluff Nursing Home, after suffering from Dementia for the past 6 years. Randiann was born on October 11, 1951, in Rockford, IL., the daughter of Folke and Ann (Ivers) Lind.
Randiann attended West High School in Rockford, graduating with the class of 1969. This is where she met her high school sweetheart, Brian King and they later married on April 1, 1972 in Rockford, IL.
Randiann was an active member of 53 years at Court Street United Methodist Church in Rockford. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was involved in 5 different choirs, including Bell Choir and she was involved in 2 different women groups.
Randiann started her working career as a dental assistant for a few different dentists. Then she took a break and was a stay at home mom, before going back into the working world as a secretary. She ended her working world with running a license & title agency in Brian's insurance agency. Her ultimate dream job before she got sick was to watch her 2 grandkids, Natalie & Nicholas since the day each of them were born.
Randiann's pride and joy were her 4 grandchildren and was so proud of all of them.
Randiann is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Thomas) Musso of Roscoe, IL; Son, Robert King (Stephanie Tonarelli) of Durand, IL; grandchildren, Addison, Natalie, Nicholas and Brandt; Kim Terviel of Freeport, mother of Addison and Brandt; sister in-law, Lori King of Rockford; several cousins, nieces and nephews, Special cousins, Nancy Teten of Tampa, Florida and Sandy Skrogstad of Rock Falls, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Brian King; in-laws, Ross and Elizabeth King; brother in-laws, Bradley King and Gerald Kudzma; sister, DeAnne Kudzma.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at River Bluff Nursing Home and at Northern Illinois Hospice.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A service for Randiann will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 at Court Street United Methodist Church 215 N Court St, Rockford, IL. at 11:30. A visitation at the church will start at 10:00am until the time of the service.
