Polly Ann Frazier, age 90, died Monday September 4th, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born April 8th, 1933, in Leona Mines, Virginia to Charles and Nell (Potter) Jordan. She met Buddy Frazier, and they were married on April 6th, 1953, in Marion, North Carolina. They moved to Rockford in 1965. She was a long-time member of the Eastern Star and White Shrine. Polly played the piano most of her life for church and Masonic organizations, and most recently for chapel at Bickford Senior Living.
She is survived by her children, Buddy (Song) Frazier, Cathy (Ray) Schoon, Jane (Russ) Stevens, and Dawn (Darrin) Salzman; grandchildren, Charles (Dawn) Frazier, Robert (Arlyn) Frazier, Sean Omayas, Katie McWilliams, Tim McWilliams, Jeff (Ashlee) McWilliams, Erin (Mike) McFarland, Kristin (Adam)Thornburg, Jordan Salzman and Ethan Salzman; 11 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren; and brother-in- law, George Blevins.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Jane Blevins.
A funeral service will be at Sundberg Funeral Home, 215 North Sixth Street, Rockford, Illinois on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 12:00 pm with visitation at 11:00 am until time of service. Condolences can be made to Sundbergfh@sundbergfh.com
