Phylicia Wynn Obituary

Phylicia A. Wynn, 72, of Knoxville, TN, formally of Rockford, died at home on Monday, March 31, 2025. She was born on August 6, 1952, in Rockford, to Calvin Blake and Virginia Wandalene (Shoe) Wynn. She was a graduate of Guilford High School, Class of 1970. She created beautiful embroidery and crochet handicrafts for friends and relatives. She enjoyed indoor and outdoor gardening. Prior to retiring to Knoxville, TN, Phylicia was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

·She is survived by: her sister Shelia Locicero of Knoxville, TN. Her nephew Andrew Pomering of Midlothian, VA, and niece Laura Pomering of Chattanooga, TN. Preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Virginia Wynn.

A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Willwood Memorial Park in Rockford, Illinois. Sundberg Funeral Home is caring for the family.
