Peggy (Clark) Carlson

Peggy (Clark) Carlson, born on December 21, 1967, went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2026, from a long battle with cancer. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Clark and Bobby Clark, and daughter Ashley Simpson. Beloved wife of Mark Carlson for 26 years and mother of 10 children, and five who she brought into the marriage: Christina, Ashley, Matthew, Jenapher, and Michael. Peggy and Mark had five more together: Brandie, Zach, Josh, Nick, Dakota. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite time of the year was Halloween, where she would make elaborate costumes, which she included face painting. She also enjoyed making trips to Missouri and Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 4th, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. till Noon at the Sundberg Funeral Home, 215 North Sixth Street, Rockford, Illinois, 61107.
