Norland O. Bolen

LEAF RIVER - Norland O. Bolen, 72, passed away in his home on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 after a lengthy illness. He was born April 7, 1939 in Egan, the son of Rolland and Minnie Bolen, and stepson of Elsie Bolen. He graduated from Rockford West High School in 1958. Norland married Kerrill K. West in Rockford on Oct. 22, 1960. He was the President of Valley Header Die for 42 years. Survivors include his wife, Kerrill of Leaf River, son, Rolland & wife, Penny Bolen, daughter, Patricia Camacho, and son, Jason & his wife, Lori Bolen, all of Rockford, granddaughters, Minel and Taylar Camacho of Rockford, Sisters, Jean Zehr of Mediapolis, IA and Vickie & her husband, Jim Warner of Lynchburg, VA, and a brother, Donald Bolen of Freeport, IL. Predeceased by a daughter, Minel Juel Bolen.
Service 1:30 pm., Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N.Sixth St., Rockford, IL with Pastor Alvin English officiating.
