Obituary for Navi Gina Martinez

August 21, 2006 – February 20, 2025

It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Navi Gina Martinez, who left us far too soon on February 20, 2025, at the age of 18.

Navi was born on August 21, 2006, to her loving parents, Armando Martinez and Erica Carrasco. She graduated from East High School in 2024, where her strong work ethic and determination stood out to everyone who knew her. Navi was a vibrant soul, full of life and promise, and always sought to improve herself and the world around her.

A free spirit, Navi cherished her time with family and friends. She was known for her infectious laughter, her warm and caring nature, and her resilience. Navi loved to live in the moment, whether it was working hard or simply enjoying time with those she loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Navi survived by her siblings Jasmin Carrasco, Ivan Martinez, Stephanie Martinez, and Melanie Martinez. She also leaves behind her “besties” Amara & Emory Whittington and nephew Urian Tejeda. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were touched by her love, kindness, and spirit.

Navi was preceded in death by her brother, Great-Grandmother, Cousins, and Aunt
