Nancy A. Doyle

Nancy A. Doyle, 73, died at 12:50 a.m., Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born June 25, 1937 in Rockford, the daughter of John and Blanche (Pernot) Schraiber. Married Michael T. Doyle, Sr., in Rockford on June 25, 1955. He predeceased her April 6, 2000. Formerly employed by Crusader Clinic as a switchboard operator. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Nancy enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader. Survivors: a daughter, Janet Finkboner (Tim Carr) of Chicago, 3 sons, Michael (Yukie) Doyle, Jr., of Rockford, Tim (Donna) Doyle of North Carolina, and Danny (Candie) Doyle of Rockford, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters Bonnie, Carol, and Gloria. Predeceased by a son, Mark, her parents, a brother John, and a great-grandchild, Devonne Jordan.
Service 11:00 a.m., Thurs., October 7, 2010 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth Sixth Street, Rockford. Visitation from 10:00 a.m., until service time on Thursday. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Rockford.
