Mary M. Pinchott, 94, passed away of natural causes at 9:58 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born Dec. 12, 1916 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Cleo and Katie (Robertson) Smith. Married Bert Pinchott in Rockford. He predeceased her in 1985. She was an artist and teacher and was formerly employed by Burpee Art Museum. Mary was a member of Second Congregational Church. Survivors: a daughter, Carol (David) Sahlstrom, a grandson, Ryan Sahlstrom, all of Rockford, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings. No services are scheduled. Private inurnment in St. Mary Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials in her name to: Center for the Sight and Hearing Impaired, 8038 Macintosh Lane, Rockford, IL 61108.
