Marlene (Rose) Friedlander

Marlene Friedlander, age 81, died Friday, August 9th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 24th, 1942, to Phillip and Pauline (Reichstein) Rose. She married Leonard Friedlander on January 27th, 1963 in Chicago. She was a Rockford public school kindergarten teacher for many years, When she retired she enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.  

She was survived by her daughter Abby(Chuck) Keller of Loves Park, son David (Amy) Friedlander of Portland Oregon, brother Harvey (Joyce) Rose of Deerfield IL, grandkids Samantha, Sydney, and Ethan Keller and Clementine Friedlander-Levy and great-grandkids Gabriella, Wesley and Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Leonard Friedlander.

The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, time, 1:00 p.m. at Sundberg Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hebrew Cemetery in Rockford, Illinois.
