Marilyn (Ide) Uhlir

Marilyn Uhlir (IDE), 82, of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2022, at River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford, IL. Marilyn was born in Edgerton, WI on December 4, 1939, the daughter of the late Harvey and Geneva (Lawrence) Ide. She always had a smile on her face, kind to everyone and full of life. Marilyn worked at Proviso East High school as an Administrator for 22 years. Her great passions in life were country music, Church, singing, traveling, and spending time with her many friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, and her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed attending all the Country Jams with her friends.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, David (Sande) Doss, James (Lisa) Doss, stepchildren, Bill Uhlir, Cathy (Craig) Cooper, John (Sarah) Uhlir, Kenny Uhlir, Andrew (Jill) Uhlir, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband, Franklin (Bud) Uhlir, Brothers, Leroy (Lucy) Ide and Harvey (Bette) Ide and her son, Robert Doss.
