Maria Flores - Gaytan Obituary

Mama Betty as we called her, was a caring devoted mother not only to her son and grandson but for everyone in her family.  She was a pillar of love and a guiding light in our lives, whose caring and loving nature left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Her unique spirit and unwavering strength were matched only by her kindness and bravery, qualities that defined her life and inspired all of us.

Mama Betty was not just our mother; she was the heart and soul of our family. Her home was the place where we all gathered, drawn together by her warm embrace and the joy she brought to every moment. Her laughter was infectious, her wisdom profound, and her love unconditional.

Her strength and courage in the face of life’s challenges taught us to be brave and compassionate. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of so many with her generous heart. Though she has left this world, the love she shared and the lessons she imparted will remain with us forever.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. She will be deeply missed but always remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness and love will continue to guide us every day.

She is survived by her son Gareth Ivan Martinez Flores, her grandson Gareth Alejandro Martinez Chavez, her daughter-in-law Elvia Chavez, her siblings Feliciano, Jesus, Ana Patricia, and Julio Cesar, and several other relatives in Mexico and the US.

Preceded by her parents Jose Feliciano Flores Reveles and Leonila Gaytan Rios, her sister Maria Candelaria, her brothers Jose Ignacio, Alejandro, and Jose Santos Flores Gaytan, and her niece Oyuky Matilde Flores Centeno
