Lynnette (Thruman) Thruman-Landgren

Lynnette Thruman Landgren, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 59 surrounded by her family at the University of Minnesota Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1964, in Freeport Illinois, and lived a full and vibrant life until her passing.

Lynnette was a retired American Airlines Senior Analyst, a job she loved and excelled at for many years. She was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and dedication to her work. She also worked at Rural Metro for many years before American Airlines. In her free time, Lynnette had many hobbies and projects, including Reindeer Depot, Smithy’s, and The Stone Tavern, which she pursued in her retirement. She was also a fan of NASCAR races and was always cheering on her favorite team, the Chicago Bears. She sure enjoyed her trips to Costco, where she would often spend hours browsing and finding new treasures.

Lynnette was a loving wife to her husband Richard Landgren, and a devoted mother to her daughter Cortnie and son-in-law Brandon, as well as her son Cody and daughter-in-law Olivia. She was also a proud grandmother to her grandchildren Oliver, Theodore, and Cedar, with another grandchild on the way. Lynnette was preceded in death by her father Jim Thruman, paternal grandparents Catherine and Russell Thruman, and maternal grandparents Edna and Robert Rosenstiel. She is survived by her mother Diane Rosenstiel, stepmother Donna Thruman, and brothers Jake (Kim) Thruman and Ken (Chassidy) Thruman.

A Funeral Service will be held to honor and celebrate Lynnette's life, time 11:00 a.m. at the Sundberg Funeral Home, 215 North Sixth Street, Rockford IL. 61107. Friend may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Condolences can be sent to sundbergfh.com.
