Linda Kay Grider

Linda K. Grider, age 76 of Rockford, Illinois died Sunday October 27, 2019 at Swedish American Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born April 8, 1943 in Missouri to Dale and Loretta (Hopkins) Wade. She married Floyd Grider on October 12, 1962 and of that union four wonderful children were born. She loved to camp, fish, and garden but her passion was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Floyd Jr, David, Tracie (Jeffery) Boolman and Jeff (Andrea) Grider.

Grandchildren; Brenda (Jason) Horstman, Lindsay Grider, Bryant Davis, Brittany (Danial) Slye, Jordan (Kara) Grider and Jesse Grider.

Great Grand Children; Emma and Riley Horstman, Liam Slye and Easton Grider.

Sisters Bonnie Williams, Carol (Brice) Shepard, Judy (Steve) Kiefor and Janet Eldred and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Stanley, Jimmy and granddaughter Bethany.

A Funeral Service will be Friday November 1, 2019 time 6:00 p.m. at Sundberg Funeral Home, 215 North Sixth Street, Rockford, IL. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
