Laird C. Barber

Laird Barber died peacefully in Rockford, Illinois November 19, 2021.  Born in Rockford, Illinois October 4, 1953, to David Barber and Ann Barber, he is survived by his brother Scott Barber of Northfield, Minnesota.  Laird lived his entire lifetime in Rockford attending Spring Creek, Marsh, and Guilford High School, class of 1972.   He graduated Rock Valley College in 1974.  Laird was employed as a pressman at Rockford Map Company, Johnson Press, and John Green Press.  Hobbies included aircraft, train, and political studies.  He was a Christian Man accepting Jesus Christ as his personal savior attending several Rockford churches.   A Celebration of Life service is being held at The Dwelling Place, 1559 S.
