Kenneth G. Barker

Kenneth G. Barker, 89 of Rockford passed away in his home on October 23, 2021.  He was born on December 21, 1931, in Arkansas the son of Alfred and Elizabeth Barker.  He married Theresa Byrd on October 17, 1968.  Ken enjoyed the outdoors especially camping and fishing.  Mr. Barker was employed as a Machine Operator by J. L. Clark Company for many years before his retirement.  Survivors: Wife Theresa Barker, Children:  Son: Darrell Barker, Cindy Newhouse, Dandy Barker, Ray Barker, Allen Barker.  Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kenneth also loved his special buddies, Rocky, Tiny, and Lily. He preceded in death by his parents, Sons, Marty Barker, Phillip Barker.  Funeral services:  1:00 p.m., Monday, November 1, 2021, in the Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 North 6th Street Visitation one hour before service time.  Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.
