Kathy Jo (Smith) Bahling

Kathy Jo Bahling age, 56 Died at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin on December 24th, 2019. She was born to Ernest and Dorothy (Sawyer) Smith on February 25th, 1963 in Rockford, Illinois. She attended Rockford Schools and was a wonderful home maker. Baking, Cooking were a pleasure and loved helping by giving food and fellowship. Kathy Jo collected angels loved doing crafts with her sister. Enjoyed volunteering she was our social butterfly and very involved with friends and family. Married Doug Bahling who she loved with all her heart.

Survived by her husband Doug.

Children: Bobbie Jo Evans, John (Lindsey) Evans, Brandon (Holly) Bahling.

Grandchildren: Lexy, Bryce, Kylee, John Jr., Mikey and Marlee.

Siblings: Peggy (Danny) Heavin, Bobby (Gabe) Smith and Ernie (Teresa) Smith.

Bonus Siblings: Janice, Deajon, Tony, Daring and Jody Berogan.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be Saturday January 4th, 2020, time 2:00 p.m. at the Sundberg Funeral Home, 215 North Sixth Street, Rockford, IL. Friends may visit on the day of the service from 12 Noon until time of service at the Funeral Home.
