Katerina "Kathy" Rodak, 75, died at 10:25 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2011 in Alden Alma Nelson Manor. Born August 15, 1935 in Ukraine, the daughter of Gregory and Anastasia (Kaluczyk) Bulka. Married Steve Rodak July 3, 1954 in Chicago, IL. He predeceased her Nov. 29, 1993. She retired from All Rental Garment Co. in 1990 after 15 years of service.
Survivors include a son, George Rodak of Rockford, a daughter, Mary (John) Robinson of Evanston, IL, a granddaughter, Emily (Bradd) Haley, 2 sisters, Olga (Peter) Malez and Polly (Jan) Molosz, both of Rockford, numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, a brother, and sisters.
Service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford, with Fr. Basil Aden officiating. Visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
