Isaiah James Gamble

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Isaiah Gamble, who was born on May 26, 2019. Isaiah was a vibrant and bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. His infectious laughter and unique style could bring a smile to anyone's face. Known for his wise yet mischievous spirit, he had an insatiable curiosity, particularly for all things dinosaur-related. Isaiah loved the thrill of driving with the windows down, chasing bubbles, spending time with friends, jumping on trampolines, swinging, building with Legos, and expressing his creativity through drawing. 

Isaiah is deeply loved and survived by his mother, Gloria Mubirigi; his grandparents, Laura Beem (Ray Kozak), Larry Gamble (Beatrice Luna), Marthe Kingambo (Pitchien Dibueni), and Aimée Kingambo (Alain Mwaku); his great-grandparent, Erie Gamble; as well as his aunts and uncles, Matthew Bybee, Megan Rymal, Becky Gamble, Amy Beem, Destiny Kingambo-Yedoh, Jessica Mubirigi, Patricia Mubirigi, and Shadrac Kingambo. He also leaves behind many cherished cousins, including Mellissa Latoszkiewicz (Jay Norman, Jr.), Kelly Latoszkiewicz, and Jenika Edwards. His loving church family and friends at I Met Jesus Community will forever hold him in their hearts.

Isaiah was preceded in death by his father, Larry Gamble Jr. (Deceased 2023).

The viewing will be held on Friday, August 21, from 1 PM to 3 PM, with the funeral service and burial taking place on Saturday, August 22, from 12 PM to 3 PM. All services will be held at Sundberg Funeral Home, 215 North Sixth Street, Rockford, Illinois. Condolences can be sent to sundbergfh.com. In this time of grief, let us celebrate the special moments shared with a remarkable boy who brought immense joy to our lives. Isaiah will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts and memories.
