Helen L. Janusevic Beers

Helen L. Janusevic Beers, 97, died at 11:55 a.m., Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born May 5, 1913 in Stillman Valley, the daughter of Robert and Fannie (Knight) Thomas. She was previously married to Harold Williamson and married Jacob Janusevic in 1934. He predeceased her in 1970. She married Harold Beers in 1977, and he died in 1987. She worked at Ekeberg Dry Goods, Johnson-Olson Floor Coverings, and Pranges Dept. Store. Helen was a member of several bowling teams and a longtime member of Women of the Moose. Survivors include her son, Thomas (Judith) Janusevic of Rockford, 5 grandchildren, Bruce (Kathy) Janusevic, Mary (Jay) Sine both of Rockford, Rhonda Meinert, Roberta Williamson, and Susan Edge, 3 great-grandchildren Jeffery Janusevic, Emily Janusevic and Zachary Haugdahl. Predeceased by a son Robert Williamson, a great-grandson Jacob Janusevic, a brother Edwin Thomas, and sisters, Mildred Madsen and Dorothy Gustafson.

Graveside Service 11:00 a.m., Wed., Oct. 13, 2010 in Stillman Valley Cemetery. Visitation from 5 - 7 p.m., Tues., Oct. 12, 2010 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford.  Memorials to the family.
