Evelyn M. Viney, 94, died 3:15 pm, Thurs., Dec. 8, 2011 in Fair Oaks Health Center. Born April 25, 1917 in Rockton Twp. Daughter of George & Grace Sly. Married Lawrence Madru in Dubuque, IA in 1939. He predeceased her in 1970. Married to Leo W. Viney Nov. 9, 1970 in Janesville, WI, he predeceased her Oct. 14, 1988. Member of VFW Post #9759 Auxiliary. Survivors: (6) children: Lawrence P. Marian) Madru of Beloit, WI; Sallie L. Culver of Beloit, WI; Ralph T. (Ellen) Madru of Ashland, MS; Mary (Dareld) McClellan of Rockford; Brenda (Jeff) Martin of Loves Park; Becky (Clarke) Shih of Rockford; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, & great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter, Grace Madru; son-in-law, Mike Culver; 4 grandchildren, Cindy, Brian, Todd & Joshua. The family would like to thank the staff at Fair Oaks Health Center for their care and compassion.
