Elaine Esther (Saxby) Wells

Elaine Esther Wells, 79, of Rockford, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Alden Debes Rehabilitation Home.

She was born on April 7, 1946, in Lena, Illinois to Vernon and Margaret (Hintz) Saxby

She graduated from Lena High School, Class of 1964.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Elaine is  survived by her children and their families:

Dennis Rucker (Terrie Halstead) Son

Jerry Wells (Sarah) Son

Brandi Zalaznik (Jeff) Daughter 

Joshua Wells (Jamie) Son

Nancy Farmer - Sister

She is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by:

Her parents, sisters Virginia Saxby, and Lulu Belle Griffin, and her daughter Pam Rucker.
Per Elaine's wishes, there will be no services.
