Dennis Gerald Strahorn

Dennis Gerald Strahorn, age 72, of Rockford, Illinois, died Wednesday, June 24, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born September 5, 1953, in Rockford, Illinois, to Edward and Willa (Williams) Strahorn. He graduated from Whitehall High School in Whitehall, Illinois, and from a young age, Dennis enjoyed working on his grandfather’s farm.

Dennis was the president of the White Eagle Sportsmen's Club for many years. He looked forward every year to their annual fishing trip and enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters. He was predeceased by his parents and his son, Timothy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
