Debra Ann (Mooney) Wilson-Dilonardo

Debra Ann (nee Mooney) Wilson-Dilonardo of Roscoe, IL, born to Jack and Shirley Mooney on October 5th, 1951, in Peoria, IL, departed this world on December 21st, 2021.

Loving wife to Edward (EJ) Dilonardo, sister to Doug (Joanne) Mooney, Dane Mooney (Mary), Dan (Pat) Mooney and Diane (Dee Dee) Butler, mother to Eric Koenig, Lindsey Wilson, Breane (Shawn) Lappin, and Jace Wilson, stepmother to Anthony (AJ) (Courtney) Dilonardo and Nicole Dilonardo, aunt to Trevor Mooney, Jack Butler, Colin Butler and Brendan, Kyle Mooney, Caycee Mooney, and Carli Mooney. Grandmother to Jacob, Joshua, Sophia, Isabella, Dominic, Keeley, Tristan, and Amelia.

Deb graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria, IL. She worked in the emergency room, numerous critical care settings, became a Chief Flight Nurse and ultimately practiced as an Advanced Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner.

Deb was a devoted wife and mother, as well as a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt who loved her grandchildren dearly. Deb had many close, lifelong friendships including the Ya Ya’s and was loved by all who had the good fortune to know her.

Deb was preceded in death by her father Jack Mooney, her mother-in-law Dorothy Dilonardo and brothers in law James Butler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 29th, 2021, time 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Rockford, IL. Father William Wentink to officiate. A burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
