Cvijan Butina

Cvijan Butina, age 88 of Loves Park died peacefully at P.A. Peterson at the Citadel. He was born to Petar and Savka (Jovanovic) Butina on March 15th, 1936, in Zenica, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Graduated high school in Bosnia & Herzegovina in 1954, served in the Yugoslavian Army. He married the love of his life, Andja Mitrovic. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He is survived by 5 children Zdravko Butina, Slavka Rajak, Zeljko Butina, Svjetlana Ristanovic, and Dalibor Butina.

He was preceded in Death by his parents and loving wife Andja Butina.

A Visitation and Mass will be held on Wednesday December 4th 12:00 pm, at Holy Ascension of Our Lord Serbian Orthodox Church 4301 w Riverside Blvd Rockford, IL 61101 and Burial at Greenwood Cemetery, 1011 Auburn St., Rockford, IL 61103
