Clark Graydon Lowry

Clark Graydon Lowry died 8:30 am, Fri., Oct. 21, 2011 in his home. Born Oct. 7, 1936 son of Paul and Freda (Mincemoyer) Lowry. Graduated from Rockford East High School. Married Barbara Isoz, Dec. 16, 1961. He was a U.S. Marine served 1958 to 1964. Clark graduated in 1966 from IIT as mechanical engineer. He was also an air traffic controller for FAA. He worked as a systems analyst for IBM for 27 years and then for ISI for several years. Later drove courtesy van for Napleton's after retirement. Proud father of Andrew Karl Lowry and several AFS students. Predeceased by parents. Survived by wife, Barbara; son, Andrew; sister-in-law, Rebecca (Roger) Thomas; niece, Joanna Thomas Lindstrom and nephew Eric Thomas. Very special friends Neal and Pat Setchell and Joseph and Wendy Newman.
Services at 1:00 pm on Tues., Oct. 25, 2011 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd. 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford, IL with Rev. Joseph Warner and Major Jordan officiating. Visitation from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the physicians of Rockford OSF and the Mayo Clinic Staff.
