Charles L. Connell, 73, formally of Milan, MO, died at 3:20 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2011 in his home. Born Sept. 2, 1937 in Milan, MO, the son of Clarence and Mary Alice (Lumsden) Connell. Graduated from Milan High School in 1955. Married the former Joan LaVasseur in Norridge, IL in April 4, 1959. He was a lift truck mechanic employed by Material Handling. He is survived by his wife Joan of Belvidere, IL, his daughters, Pam (Paul) Knulty of Crystal Lake, IL and Carolyn (Steve) Drenkard of Cummings, GA, his grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, Trent, and Peyton. Charles was predeceased by his parents. Interment will be at a later date in Shatto Cemetery, Milan, MO. Arrangements by Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N.
