Catalina Consuelo Rodriguez

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Catalina Rodriguez, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, on November 8, 2024, at, 91. Catalina was born on April 30, 1933, to Leopoldo Rodriguez and Ana Garcia.

Catalina led a life marked by love and dedication. On August 2, 1972, she married the love of her life and together they built a family full of warmth and joy. Catalina was a proud St. Peter & Paul Church member in Rockford, IL, where she cultivated a deep faith that guided her through life. She enjoyed her peaceful walks in the park, appreciating the beauty around her and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Sonia Ramirez, and son-in-law, Feliciano Ramirez; her cherished grandchildren Jason, Nathan, Andrew, and Chandler (granddaughter-in-law) Ramirez, who will forever remember her love and wisdom.

Catalina was preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo Rodriguez and Ana Garcia; her brother, Jorge Rodriguez; and her sister, Ana Maria Rodriguez.

Though she will be deeply missed, Catalina’s legacy of kindness and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A service will be held in Mexico to honor her life.
