Carol Decker Obituary

Carol M. Decker, 82, went home at 1:15 am Wed., Nov. 30, 2011 in Fair Oaks Health Center and will be sadly missed. Born May 15, 1929 in Rockford daughter of John & Signe (Wetterquist) Larson attended Rockford schools. Married Paul R. Decker, Dec. 7, 1946 in Rockford. He predeceased her June 7, 2002. She had worked at many Rockford area companies. Survivors: 2 daughters, Pamela Cunningham of Rockford, and Cindy (Jon) Burkel of Roscoe; 1 son, Rick Decker of Rockford; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter, Cheryl Decker and son, Gary Decker.

Private family services at 2:00 pm, Fri. Dec. 2, 2011 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until service time on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
