Brandon J. Cash, 43 of Rockford, died peacefully at home on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
He was born on July 14, 1979, in Rockford to Donald and Deborah (Swanson) Cash.
He graduated from St. James School 1993 in Rockford, and East High School, Class of 1997
He also attended Rock Valley College.
Brandon enjoyed all his time spent with his best friend and “his life”, his son, Preston. They enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and hanging out at the beach together. Golf cart rides and driving in the BMW to Big Mound cemetery to visit loved ones. Anytime with family was his biggest priority.
He was an amazing basketball player starting in 4th grade. As a child he chose #3 for his jersey because he claimed, “he always scored in 3s”. Brandon enjoyed watching Notre Dame football, going to White Sox games and anything to do with Michael Jordan. Brandon’s Jordan’s shoes were his most prized possession (after his son of course) Brandon could watch the Sopranos every day. He loved fresh fruit so much he would make himself sick. Brandon loved steak leftovers at Gram and Papas. Spending time in Galena, Prairie du Chien, and Lake Mills. Enjoyed having good conversation with his friend/brother Mike and brother-in-law Eric.
Took great honor in being the god father to his niece, nephew and special godson Noah Glover.
Brandon had recently started a new career at Connor Co. and was very excited about his future.
Brandon is survived by his everything-his life-son Preston Cash, and furry friend, Driver
