Benjamin Carreno Vega

Benjamin Carreno Vega, 65 of Rockford, died June 26, 2025. Born March 30, 1960, the son of Jesus Carreno Torres and MA Leonor Vega Quintero. He enjoyed watching soccer, landscaping, slot machines, and taking care of his feline friends.

Survivors include his brother, Jesus Carreno Vega, Dagoberto Vega; sister, MA Lorena Rodriquez Vega; nieces, Emilia Isabel Rodrigues, Belesme Loren Rodriguez, and Daleyza Itzel Rodriquez; nephews, Jorge Arman Rodriquez, Emiliano Benicio Rodriguez, Jose Tadeo Paredes, and Romeo Osiel Paredes.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jorge Alejandro Rodriquez Vega.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a prayer service at Noon. He will be buried at a later date in San Jose Agua Azul, Guanajuato, Mexico.
