Arlo O. Stalvik

Arlo O. Stalvik, 66, died in his home at 2:50 a.m., Friday, July 16, 2010. Born Jan. 16, 1944 in Cooperstown, ND, the son of Oscar and Marvel (Penninger) Stalvik. Graduated from West Fargo, ND High School. Married Nancy Olson in Jan. 18, 1969 in Rockford. He was a machinist for 42 years and was employed by GKN. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed camping, and family outings. Survivors include his wife, Nancy, 2 daughters, Shari and Laurie, 5 grandchildren , Nicole, Josh, Haley, Ashley, and Connor, a great-granddaughter, Hannah, a brother, 4 sisters, and his mother, Marvel. Predeceased by his father, a sister, and a grandson, Kyle. Service 10:00 a.m., Wed., July 21, 2010 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford with Fr. William Wentink officiating.
