Anthony (Tony) Joel Jeffreys

Mr. Anthony J. Jeffreys, 70, of Rockford, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 10, 1955, in Rockford to Walter and Frances (Smith) Jeffreys. He was a graduate of East High School. On May 24, 1974, he was joined in marriage to Rosemary Weir. Mr. Jeffreys loved fishing and camping with his family. He was a member of the LLC Club. He was an avid collector of pocket watches.

 Mr. Jeffreys is survived by his wife, Rosemary Jeffreys.

Their sons: Joel Jeffreys, Michael (Marcia) Jeffreys, Brian (Bianca) Jeffreys, and Roderick (Angie) Roby.

Grandchildren: Alexis Jeffreys, Abygayle Jeffreys, Lalo (Lily)Jeffreys, Isabella Jeffreys, and Dolores Jeffreys.

Great Grandkids: Noah Bock, Axel Mascolo, Eliana Jeffreys,

Nayeli Jeffreys, and Armonti Jeffreys.

His siblings: Rhonda (John), Andrew Scott, Shawna (David)

Special cousin: Kevin Sims

Special niece: Samantha Jeffreys 

And numerous cousins and nieces and nephews

Preceded in Death by his mother, Frances Jeffreys

Grandparents: Herman (Maude) Jeffreys and

Losi (Pauline) Smith.

Funeral Service will be on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Sundberg Funeral Home, Rockford, Illinois.

The Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Winnebago, Illinois, after the funeral service.
