Adelaide (Addie) Wright-DiBenedetto

Adelaide (Addie) Wright-DiBenedetto age 90 died Tuesday, June 6th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 1st, 1932, in Sterling, Illinois, to Goldie (Witt) and Kenneth Heath Wright. She married Phillip John DiBenedetto in Lobdell, Louisiana on December 27th, 1954. He died on September 1st, 2016.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a member, she had many callings including Stake Relief Society President, Ward Relief Society president, and Ward missionary. She worked for several companies in Rockford, including Sundstrand Corporation, and Local 23 Plumbers and Pipefitters. After working for the Regional Learning Academy for fourteen years, she retired in June 2012.

She is survived by her family: Lydia Schafer, Russell and Pam DiBenedetto, Lisa DiBenedetto, Celeste and Jeff Miller, and twelve grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons, Philip C, (Sandra), Scott A. (Sandra) DiBenedetto: brother, Kenneth Frank (Donna) Wright; sisters Ruth (Sydney) Kline, Dorothy (Alfred) Roth, Barbara (Wilson) Trumbull and nephew, Mark (Kristen) Francis.

Funeral Service will be held time 12 noon, Saturday, June 10th, 2023, The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 620 North Alpine Road, Rockford, Illinois. Friends may visit on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Sundberg Funeral Home is caring for the family.
