Roselin Kaplan Obituary

Roselin Kaplan, 91, of Rockford, passed away at 1:55 p.m., Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 in Provena St. Anne Center. Born February 26, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Isaac and Yetta (Berg) Bernstein. Married Jack G. Kaplan in Lakewood, NJ on February 6, 1949. He predeceased her on December 19, 1990. She was formerly employed by Connie Tremulis Fashion Salon and Rhomberg’s Fur Salon. She was a member of Ohave Shalom Synagogue.

Survived by her daughters, Ilene Chafetz of Rocky Point, NY and Shelley Kaplan of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren; sister, Faye Rosenzweig, Hollywood, FL; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents.

Graveside service 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 in Rockford Hebrew Cemetery. Arrangements by Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford, IL.
