Loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather

Michael "Mike"Rodak, 76, of Rockford, passed away at home surrounded by family on March 23, 2016. Born May 20, 1939 in Belarus, son of Jakob and Eudokia Rodak. Married to the former Ann Guth in Rockford on April 27, 1963. Employed as drill operator by Cotta Transmission for 39 years, retiring in 2008. Member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church. He loved his grandkids, great-grandkids, and cookouts. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Bulls fan. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. Survivors include his loving wife, Ann Guth Rodak; daughter, Lisa Holliman; granddaughters, Denise Harrington and Renee Harrington, grandson, Shawn Michael, great-grandsons, DaMire Michael and Donterious Michael; sister, Olga Clark; and his dogs, Sweetheart and Diamond. Predeceased by a daughter, Darlene Rodak; his parents, four sisters, and one brother. The family would like to thank Hospice Care of America with a special thanks to Nick. The family also wants to thank the staff at Swedish American Heart Hospital.
