Marie Willson, 93 died 8:55 am, Wed., June 1, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. Born Feb. 27, 1918 in Rockford daughter of Sigfried & Alzina (King) Swenson. Graduated from Rockford Central High School. Married to Eric Carl Willson in Old Stone Church, Rockton on Apr. 5, 1941. He predeceased her May 17, 1998. Her life centered around her home, family and friends. Marie was an avid Bridge player, enjoyed golf at Sandy Hollow and continued to meet regularly with a small group of high school friends. Survivors include; daughters: Marcia Weflen, Evanston, IL and Janet (Jeff) Guzzardo of Oceanside, CA; a son: Donald (Susan) Willson of Rockton, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a twin sister, Marion Juul.
