Mary Jane Gorkow

Mary Jane Gorkow, 74, of Rockford, died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at UW Swedish American Health Hospital. She was born on October 4, 1949, in Guttenberg, Iowa, the 5th daughter of Edwin Frederick and Ladema Emma (Luther) Gorkow. She was a graduate of Auburn High School, Class of 1967. She was employed in the clerical department of the insurance industry. She is survived by: Gloria Ann (Bruce) Welch, Barbara Jean Gorkow, Lana Augusta (James) Fletcher, Judith Ann Gorkow, and Anna Marie (William) Lee. Nieces and Nephews: Lori Welch, Deborah Welch, Tanya (Lawrence) Hartley, Theresa Prebula, James Fletcher, Christopher Lee, and Benjamin Lee. Great nieces and nephews: Matthew Fletcher, James Fletcher, Kayla Fletcher, James Prebula, Seth (Kate) Welch, Emma Welch, Zoe Hartley, Olivia Hartley, Hayden Clausen, Grayson Lee, and Great Grand niece Dianne. Predeceased by her parents. Also, James Welch and James Fletcher.
